tastytade users have the ability to view and filter specific positions such as stocks, options, or futures. You can also view positions in Symbol Groups which will combine stock and options order into one underlying group. Lastly, you may view working orders and closed orders. How to Filter Positions
First, let's concentrate on the position filters that live in the form of buttons, which is located above our positions, as illustrated below. When a filter is enabled (or displaying) the button is black and underlined with a grey line. Meanwhile, a disabled filter is grey and denotes that is disabled (or not showing). That said if you ever feel like you're missing a stock, options, or futures position? Then chances are it may be filtered out.

Filter Descriptions
- Expand All: Expands all symbol groups (if enabled) so all positions are displayed.
- Stocks: Displays stock positions.
- Options: Displays options positions.
- Symbol Groups: A feature that groups together all positions of the same underlying into one group.
- Working: Displays any working orders to open or close.
- Closed: Displays any closed orders (not available in web-based platform).
To disable viewing certain position types then simply click any radio button. Chances are, if you believe that you have any positions that are “missing” then you may have one of these radio buttons disabled. Sorting in Ascending and Descending Order
You can also sort positions in ascending and descending order within the desktop platform and web-based platform. An arrow pointing up indicates ascending order (A to Z, or Small to Large) and an arrow pointing down indicates descending order (Z to A, or Large to Small).

To sort in ascending or descending order simply mouseover a column header. If the column illuminates then that indicates that the column can be sorted. Once you click the column header an arrow will appear to the left of the column label. The animation below illustrates this feature.

Web Based Platform Overall View of Column Heading Labels
Just like the desktop platform, the same logic for sorting applies to the web-based platform. An arrow pointing up or down, located immediately to the left of each column label, indicates that it can be sorted. To sort, simply click the column label and it will sort in ascending or descending order, which will be indicated with the arrow turning blue.
