What documents are required?
International account applications will not be reviewed unless accompanied by a copy of a passport or driver’s license AND proof of a physical address provided on the application. The proof of address document cannot be more than a year old. During the application process, there will be a portal where you may upload your documents.
Examples of a Proof of a Physical Address document include:
- Government-issued photo ID (with the address listed)
- Utility bill
- Bank statement
- Credit card bill
How long does it take to open my tastytrade account?
Due to the manual review required for all international accounts, the approval process generally takes a 1-3 business days as long as all the paperwork is in good order.
