Customers at tastytrade can now add cryptocurrency wallets at my.tastytrade.com and withdraw crypto holdings to external wallets. Cryptocurrency deposits are coming soon! Cryptocurrency transfers provide a new method to move assets for eligible tastytrade customers and may be a cheaper alternative to wiring or transferring an account. Users can currently withdraw the following assets:
- Bitcoin (BTC/USD)
- Bitcoin Cash (BCH/USD)
- Ethereum (ETH/USD)
- Litecoin (LTC/USD)
- Cardano (ADA/USD)
- Polkadot (DOT/USD)
- Dogecoin (DOGE/USD)
- Solana (SOL/USD)
Please note that cryptocurrency asset transfers to an incorrect wallet address are irreversible due to the nature of the blockchain network. Please take a moment to confirm you are on the official tastytrade website and that you have entered your correct wallet address. Gas fees for cryptocurrency transfers to your Zero Hash cryptocurrency account still apply, but are not assessed by tastytrade. Any deposit transactions to your Zero Hash cryptocurrency account that are returned will be sent to back to the wallet address the transfer originated form. Fees are charged by Zero Hash for any Returned Deposit transactions.
You can enable and make cryptocurrency transfers on the tastytrade web browser platform (my.tastytrade.com). Please navigate to the My Money dropdown on the management page to find the cryptocurrency transfer tab. To start, select an eligible account from the account selector dropdown.
Cryptocurrency transfers are only available for individual cash or margin account holders with cryptocurrency trading enabled. Users must also enable two-factor authentication and complete additional identity verification steps to enable cryptocurrency transfers. You will be prompted to upload a picture of a government-issued ID to complete identification requirements.
Once all requirements are met, please read and agree to the conditions of the cryptocurrency Platform agreement to complete the process.
In order for us to confirm your indentity to enable cryptocurrency trading, we kindly ask you to upload a photo of one of your acceptable govermnet-issued IDs, and also a real-time selfie. You will need to have a device with a camera to take scans of documents in real-time and also a picture of your self at the time of uploading. These steps are necessary for additional security. Start Verification
To start the verification process, on the cryptocurrency transfer enable page, click on Confirm. You will be taken to a new window where you can then start the Jumio verification process. Next, you must select the ID Document type you will provide. ID document available to upload like Passports, Driver's Licenses, or an Identity Cards vary on the country of residence.

Next, you can choose the upload method. When selecting mobile, you can use your mobile device's camera to capture your ID document. When selecting by Webcam, it will use your computer's onboard webcam, if equipped. When selecting mobile, please use your mobile phone's camera to scan the QR code and follow the on-screen instructions to capture your ID. You can also select to receive a link via email, check your email's inbox on your phone when opening that link.

The QR code will take you to the mobile document upload portal so you can capture your ID document. Tap "Start" and then follow the on-screen instructions. You must give access to your devices camera when prompted to continue.
After clicking "Start,” the camera on your device will open, and you will be prompted to take a picture of the front of your ID document. If there are two sides to a ID document you will be asked to take another scan of the backside as well. A screen will prompt you to confirm each scan to make sure that the quality is good and clear. The better the quality, the quicker the verification process will complete.

You must first add a crypto wallet to withdraw cryptocurrency from your tastytrade account. Please navigate to the My Wallets tab, select an eligible account from the dropdown, and click Add New Wallet in the bottom right to start the process.
Next, select the cryptocurrency asset tied to the particular wallet, enter the Wallet Address, and type in a wallet name. Before submission, double-check and confirm the recipient address is accurately typed and correct. Please exercise heightened caution when engaging with third-party services or websites. It is essential to be mindful and have a comprehensive understanding of their security measures. tastytrade will never ask for your password or private keys.
After confirming the wallet information provided is correct and submitted, a prompt will ask you to enter your tastytrade account’s two-factor authentication code. If you have trouble finding or entering your code, please get in touch with our support team via phone or email. Your wallet will be approved shortly or sent to our accounts team for manual review. You will also receive an email from no-reply@tastytrade.com letting you know that your request is under review. You can check on the status of your wallet under the My Wallets Tab. Wallets will either be in an Approved, Pending, or Rejected state. To remove old or unwanted wallets, click on the red Remove button as seen below.
A withdrawal from tastytrade is a transaction of transferring cryptocurrency from your Zero Hash cryptocurrency account associated with your tastytrade account to an external address (usually a wallet or an exchange). To withdraw cryptocurrency from one of your tastytrade accounts, you must first enable cryptocurrency transfers and add a wallet, as explained above. Once everything is set up, you can navigate to the withdrawals page and select the account that holds your cryptocurrency.
Select an asset to transfer and a wallet address that can receive it. Please make sure that the address provided is correct. All withdrawals sent to an incorrect address are irreversible, and assets can be lost. Please triple-check that you are on the official tastytrade website, my.tastytrade.com, and that the address you are sending to is your own. Next, you will see the available settled cryptocurrency to withdraw from your account. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw. Minimum withdrawal amounts are dependent on chain activity and gas fees. Please note that the max available amount to withdraw from your account includes any applicable fees for the transfer. You do not need to subtract the fee amount from the max available to withdraw to transfer out all holdings for a particular crytocurrency.
After confirming that the transfer details provided are correct and submitted, a prompt will ask you to enter your tastytrade account’s two-factor authentication code. On the withdrawal confirmation page, you will find a detailed breakdown of the transaction and associated fees. Fees depend on the asset and may vary on transfer size, chain activity, and other factors. Fees will vary depending on when the transfer is submitted, so you may need to click the fee refresh button in the bottom left of the confirm screen.
Once submitted, an email receipt confirming your withdrawal request will be sent to the email address associated with your tastytrade account. Withdrawal timing depends on the asset being transferred and wallet receiving, some transfers may be flagged for manual review.
Check on the status of a withdrawal or look back on previous transactions in the withdrawals history tab. Select an account to view and then scroll the transaction you want to check.
