Does tastyworks offer paper trading?
At this time, tastyworks does not offer any demo or simulated trading environment. However, we know that moving over to a new platform may be a little jarring at first, so you can gain access to the platform and check it out by opening a tastyworks account and not funding it initially. We encourage you to check out the desktop platform overview video to get yourself acclimated to your new surroundings. To view our in-depth overview video, please click here.
Does tastyworks charge any inactivity fees?
We do not charge any platform inactivity fees or account maintenance fees, so you can take as much time as you need with the platform before deciding to fund your trading account. However, to place any trades will require a funded account.
One last thing, recently opened accounts that remain unfunded for 14 days will switch to delayed quotes. That said, live quotes will restore after you fund your account. To learn more, please click here.
