How to Fund a tastytrade Account


Did you just open your tastytrade account, but need to fund it? The video above illustrates the whole process. To initiate your first deposit, first start by logging into your account at tastytrade.com. You can use the link below or click here.

The quickest and most convenient way to fund is via ACH, using our instant bank linking system (Plaid). For more information about our instant linking system, please click here. However, if your bank is not listed in our linking system, then click I CAN’T FIND MY BANK. There, you can enter your checking account number, bank routing number, and give it a nickname. After entering your bank information, you will receive two micro-deposits in your bank account. Micro-deposits will land in your bank account in 2-3 business days. *Please Note: Savings accounts, foreign (non-US) banks, and brokerage-to-brokerage ACH links are NOT supported. Only checking accounts may be linked when manually inputting your banking information. Also, checking accounts linked manually are subject to a four business-day hold until funds are made available for trading. To learn more about this hold, please click here.
