Did you open your first tastytrade account and not fund it yet? If so, and you want to check out the platform with live quotes streaming through it, you’ll have 14 calendar days of live market data to peruse the platform. If your account remains unfunded, then your account will switch to delayed data. However, real-time data will return once you fund your account with any amount.
When will I receive live quotes?
Are you a non-professional trader and received an email about your unfunded account getting switched to delayed data? If so, receiving live data is no longer "off the table." You will receive live/real-time quotes once your deposit posts to your account. If you're not ready to fund your account yet, then you can make a deposit any time in the future when you're ready. If you just made a deposit and are still receiving delayed quotes, then live data will appear when your deposit settles.
